Effective 24 October 2026

Policy overview

Welcome to Pomegranate Health India LLP (“Pomegranate India”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information — including sensitive personal data and digital personal data — when you access our website, mobile application, telehealth facilitation platform and related services (collectively, the “Services”) from within India.

By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

Regulatory Framework

This Policy is framed in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (DPDP Rules), the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 (TPG 2020) issued by the National Medical Commission, and other applicable Indian laws and regulations.

Data Fiduciary: Pomegranate Health India LLP. For privacy questions or complaints, write to info@joinpomegranate.in. Applies to all users of the Pomegranate India Platform — patients and Registered Medical Practitioners (RMPs) in India.

Nature of Services

Pomegranate Health India LLP is a technology-enabled wellness and telehealth facilitation platform that connects users with qualified, independent Registered Medical Practitioners (“RMPs”), wellness experts and allied service providers.

Pomegranate Health India LLP is not a healthcare provider and does not itself practise medicine. Medical consultations, clinical assessments, diagnoses, and prescriptions are solely made by independent RMPs duly registered under the National Medical Commission Act, 2020 and applicable State Medical Council regulations. The Platform merely facilitates access to such professionals.

Pomegranate Health India LLP does not manufacture, stock, dispense, advertise or directly sell prescription drugs or medicines to consumers. Any medicines dispensed pursuant to RMP prescriptions are fulfilled through duly licensed third-party pharmacies and distributors under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.

Disclaimer: Use of the Platform does not create a doctor-patient relationship between the user and Pomegranate Health India LLP. All clinical relationships are solely between the user and the independent RMP conducting the consultation.

Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. We may share your information only in the following circumstances and only to the extent necessary:

5.1 With Independent RMPs

Health and wellness information relevant to your consultation will be shared with the RMP conducting your session. Such vendors may access personal data only to the extent necessary to perform services on our behalf and are bound by written Data Processing Agreements that prohibit independent use or further disclosure.

5.7 With Legal and Regulatory Authorities

We may disclose your information to courts, law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, or government authorities when required by applicable Indian law, court order, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pomegranate Health India LLP, its users, or the public.

  • Encryption of data in transit;
  • Access controls so only authorised staff can see user data;
  • Authentication for staff and RMP accounts;
  • Monitoring of Platform access; and
  • Contractual obligations on vendors who process data for us.

Notwithstanding the above, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security.
